What makes us different?
- We produce the art you want by talking to you, asking questions and offering advice.
- A Talented Award winning artist.
- We offer a guarantee that if you order a piece from this website and it doesn’t fit in as expected you can return it for a full refund. Unfortunately this guarantee cannot be applied to bespoke work but we will do everything in our power to correct any misinterpretations or errors on our part – we want you to be delighted with the art you buy from us.
- Our artist, Danielle Smith, is currently undiscovered as she has been working as an interior designer until now. Her work has been admired by all who have seen it and we believe that it is only a matter of time before she gets discovered. This makes the work a superb investment.
- Danielle has a firm background in design and interiors and understands the need for Art to complement the home or office.
- We are a small family run business consisting of myself, Damien O’Dwyer and my Fiancé, our Artist Danielle. We both love art and want our customers to love Danielle’s Art and recommend us to their friends and family – We will even pay 10% commission for recommendations.
About the artist.
Pre-School
1980-1984
Danielle has been producing art from since before she could walk. This talent was nurtured from a very early age and she was entered for and won many competitions. While other kids were playing with dirt – Danielle was painting and drawing.
Infant and Junior school
1984-1991
Danielle’s teachers noticed the attention to detail in her work and
told her parents to keep all of her work. These teachers offered to put Danielle
forward for an art scholarship, this was declined because her parents felt
it was too early for her to be away from home.
Secondary School
1991-1998
Danielle attended Latimer School Arts College – a renowned school for
encouraging visual arts. She achieved the following whilst at school.
- A* in both art and design and design technology GCSE.
- A in A-level Art and design (and design technology).
- First Commission with RS Components to create an artists impression of a Safe for inclusion in their catalogue.
- Won the Richardson trophy for art and design.
- Won the Bosch prize for excellence in design.
- Exhibited at the Alfred East art gallery in Kettering.
- Exhibited at the NPPC Artwork Exhibition.
University College Northampton
1998-1999
Completed a Diploma in foundation studies in art and design to explore all aspects of the field and to find a specialisation. Discovered a talent in 3D design and was heavily influenced by textiles. She really loved using new and innovative materials and textures.
- Invited to Exhibit at “25 years of Millbrook Junior School exhibition of art”
Loughborough University.
1999-2002
BA(hons) 3D Furniture Design.
This was a very versatile course allowing Danielle to experience working with a diverse range of materials and textiles to produce funky contemporary furniture. This experience taught her a huge array of skills giving her the flexibility of approach as offered today.
- Won a competition for a commission to design the reception area of a Leicestershire company, BWW Displays. This design was also manufactured and installed.
- Winning the above competition fuelled Danielle’s passion for interior design and from that point on she focussed her degree on the interior design element.
- Danielle is well placed to offer advice on colour as well as design because her dissertation was on the psychological effects of colour in space. She believes that colour and design do play an important role in human behaviour.
- Offered a place in her final year at the 2003 EYA03 Fine art and design of international importance in Birmingham.

A message from the artist
As commercial Interior design is now becoming more computerised and after creating many hand drawings for ACS I realised that I was not following my destiny to be a fine artist.
I know that it is important to constantly develop my talent and only being able to do this in evenings and weekends was not enough. Now that I have my own studio and the time to create new Art I can produce the art I and hopefully you will love.
I have the unique opportunity to incorporate my experience in interior and furniture design into my true love of art and the chance to share this with you.
Thank you for taking a look at my art I welcome and deeply value your comments.
